No one has an ideal life. There is no picture perfect! Not every day is as bright. Sometimes the best you can do is just to survive the day. During such times, we need spiritual and moral support. We need a gentle reminder that we got this! The words from the scripture are you daily boast and special remedy for such hard times! Here are 10 bible verse to help you through your hard times:
1. PSALM 55:22
“Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.”
Psalm 55:22 is a powerful reminder from God that your burdens are not for you to tackle alone, that He is there and taking care of you. How many times through a day we feel that we are not going to be able to get the job we want or make the ends meet? Especially, today’s world is driven with a pace that is hard to keep. The influx of social media information sends us into whirls of comparison and race. We become machines who are striving to attain wealth, prosperity, and good life. Making it all happen alone sounds tedious and is a burdensome job! Indeed, the reliance on God provides hope and peace.
2. PSALM 9:9
“The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.”
It is hard to trust anyone in this world. It is hard to get your own due rights and respect from people. However, we are here to do our part. If you feel that someone has been unfair to you, do not seek revenge. Just give it to God. Trust God that he is going to alleviate you from the oppressive circumstances.
3. MARK 10:27
“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.’”
