6. Mount Everest
The World’s tallest mountain Mount Everest is located in Nepal and has been a fascination of mountain climbers all over the world. It is 8,848 meters high and was first conquered by Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953.
But if you are looking to conquer the mountain yourself, you need to register and then wait for your number on the wait list. And even during the climb, apart from conditions, you will find traffic of climbers wanting to get their moment of glory itself and lots of dead bodies, which have been left there as landmarks for climbers.
7. The Pyramids of Egypt
The Pyramids of Giza in Egypt are the remnants of the once powerful Egyptian dynasty. They were built in the 2000 BC era. The most magnificent one is the great Pyramid of Giza or Khufu’s pyramid. It was originally 146.5 meters high. It looks extremely regal and lovely. In reality, there are long waiting lines in order to visit the pyramids and check them out from the inside. Since the pyramids are thousands of years old, people are let in bunches to inspect them.

The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications made of bricks by the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang in 220-206 BCE. The wall is around 13,171 miles long and has been a part of most of the western movies that show China in them. Most tourists would love to walk a stretch of the wall and that’s what tourists do. They click pictures and walk along the wall and its gets very crowded. Not something you want to do on a holiday.
9. Eiffel tower
Another romantic place is the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It is the place where most couples get engaged and one of the favorite pastimes is to have a picnic with your loved ones on the lawns of the tower. But the problem is that the lawns are mostly filled with locals who enjoy spending time there and tourists who have the same idea.
